Seema Kapoor is a distinguished director, writer, and theatre professional whose extensive career in the performing arts has positioned her as a significant figure in Indian and international theatre. From a young age, Seema was immersed in the world of theatre through her father, Shri Madanlal Kapoor, who ran one of India’s few Parsi theatre companies at the time. Her mother, Shrimati Kamal Shabnam Kapoor, was an eminent Urdu and Hindi poet, a classical singer, and a dedicated teacher, whose influence fostered in Seema a profound respect for literature and music. This rich familial background laid the foundation for her artistic inclinations, infusing her work with a unique depth and understanding.

Throughout her career, Seema has had the privilege of working with esteemed figures in Indian theatre, such as Mr. Habib Tanveer, Shri Astad Deboo, Shri Rajendra Nath, and Shri Ranjeet Kapoor.
